Overview
A full-stack Inventory Management System web application designed to help businesses track, manage, and control stock in real time. The platform centralizes product data, stock movements, and reporting into a single dashboard, making it easier for businesses to avoid overstocking, stockouts, and manual tracking errors.
This is a production-style ERP module, not just a basic CRUD system — built to simulate real warehouse and retail operations.
How We Built It
This project was developed using a Node.js-based backend deployed on Railway, with a structured architecture focused on reliability and scalability.
- Built a central inventory system to manage products, stock levels, and categories
- Implemented stock movement logic (add, remove, adjust inventory in real time)
- Designed a backend API system for inventory operations and reporting
- Created a dashboard-driven interface for quick stock visibility
- Structured the system for multi-user access (admin/operator style roles)
- Deployed on Railway cloud hosting for live access and continuous deployment
- Designed backend logic to support future scaling into warehouse / POS systems
